1. Ratification of minutes of the last executive committee meeting.
2. Reporting of R-10 Meeting held in East Malaysia during March 1-2, 2014 by Chairperson and
Past Secretary of IEEE UP Section.
3. Status of Women in Engineering (WIE) affinity Group & Special Interest Group of Humanitarian
Technology (SIGHT) formation and IEEE Region 10 is inviting project proposal(s) on
Humanitarian Technology from Sections of Region 10 to further promote HT activities (Last Date
April 30, 2014).
4. Professional/Student Membership Development and New Student Branch Formation Initiatives
5. Dronacharya Group of Institutions,Greater Noida is organizing a Guest Lecture by Dr. Prerna
Gaur(SM IEEE, Secretary, IEEE Delhi Section,Chairperson, IEEE PELS-IES Delhi Chapter) on
“Renewable Energy MatLab/Simulink based Modelling Precise Control of Servo Motors” on March
24, 2014.
They have requested for the Grant for conducting the Guest Lecture.
6. BSA College of Engineering & Technology organized “National Workshop on MATLAB and Its
Application in Electrical Engineering” during March 11-13, 2014.
They have requested for the Grant of Rs. 25000 for conducting the Workshop.
7. BIT Muzaffarnagar is organizing “National Conference on Trends in Signal Processing
Communication (TSPC 14)” during April 12-14, 2014.
They have requested to IEEE UP Section for Financial Sponsorship and requested for the Grant.
8. Dr. Virendra Swarup Group of Institutions, Ragendra Swarup Knowledge City, Kader Patri,
Unnao is organizing “International Conference on Advances in Engineering and Technology
Research (ICAETR 2014)” during April 11-12,2014.
They have requested to IEEE UP Section for Technical Sponsorship and no financial assistance.
9. Amity Institute of Information Technology (AIIT), Amity University, Noida is organizing “3rd
International Conference on Reliability, Infocom Technologies and Optimization (Trends and
Future Directions) (ICRITO’ 2014)” during October 8-10, 2014.
They have requested to IEEE UP Section for Technical Sponsorship & the conference proceedings
upload to IEEE Xplore and no financial assistance.
10. ABV-IIITM Gwalior is organizing “9th International Conference on Industrial & Information
Systems (ICIIS2014)” during December 15-17, 2014.
They have requested to Computational Intelligence Society Chapter IEEE UP Section for Technical
Sponsorship & the conference proceedings upload to IEEE Xplore.
11. Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT) Noida is organizing “4th International
Symposium on Emerging Trends and Technologies in Libraries and Information Services” during
January 6-8, 2015.
They have requested to IEEE UP Section for Technical Collaboration/Sponsorship (Conference
Proceedings Management System) approval so that the conference proceedings may be uploaded to
IEEE Xplore and no financial assistance.
12. Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Amity School of Engineering &
Technology, Amity University, Noida is organizing “Second International Conference on Signal
Processing and integrated Networks (SPIN 2015)” during Feb 12-13, 2015.
They have requested for Technical Sponsorship from IEEE UP Section and also requested for
Publication of Proceedings in IEEE Xplorer.

Systems (ACODS-2014)” held on March 13 – 15, 2014 at Indian Institute of Technology,
Kanpur.
Sachdeva Institute of Technology, Mathura is organizing “International Conference on
Emerging Computing Techniques (ICECT-2014) at Agra during March 21-23, 2014.
National Conference on Energy, Power and Intelligent Control Systems (EPICS)” to be held
