For engineers, multi-knots Möbius-Strips surface is a launch pad to complex geometries and topological exploration for the applications in building high performance components, which exhibit peculiar properties and violate the Hückel rules. Möbius-Strips deform in a way that its metrical properties barely changed; for example, some nanostructures posses the identical elastic properties even after deformation. Recent breakthrough in the realization of artificial Möbius-Strips formed by EM (electromagnetic wave) demonstrates “a light-beam can be controlled so that its polarization twists follow a contour of Möbius-Strips”. The creation of EM wave around Möbius contour is interesting for improving the fundamental understanding of optical polarization and the complex light beam engineering for developing optical micro-and nano-fabrication structure. In this talk speaker will explain the metamterial equivalent composite strips made of Mobius band for the applications in nano structures.
