[Legacy Report] Power Plant Tour - Gemma Power/POWER Burns & Roe
On Friday, March 20, 2015 the PES and IAS Chapters will sponsor a tour of the new Panda Liberty Generating Station, an 800MW combined cycle generating station in Asylum Pennsylvania. The tour will include some classroom type discussion on the power plant design and a safety orientation followed by a plant tour.
Chartered bus transportation will be provided from the parking lot of POWER Burns & Roe promptly at 8:00AM. An additional stop will be made at the Howard Boulevard Park & Ride right off of Route 80 in Mount Arlington at around 8:45AM.

The bus will depart promptly at 8:00AM and return at approximately 5:00PM. Bagels with cream cheese/butter and coffee will be provided for the bus ride. Lunch will be provided at the site.
Personnel Protective Equipment will be required - steel toe shoes, hard hat and safety glasses, vest and hearing protection. If you do not have these items, please let the coordinator know to see if we can make arrangements.
Participation will be strictly limited to first 30 paid registrants. Full payment via credit card must be received no later than March 13, 2015.
