About Involta

Involta provides highly secure and reliable co-location, cloud, and hosting services to a variety of businesses. In addition to the facility in Marion, Iowa that we will visit, Involta operates data centers in Akron, Boise, Duluth, and Tucson. We will begin our meeting in a conference room, where our hosts will give us an overview of the company's history and tell us how the company helps its clients. Our hosts will then take us in small groups through the building to see the computers and the various means of protection that assure continuous service.

Directions

Involta's facility in Marion, Iowa is located at 5055 REC Drive. The drive connects to Route 13 north of the intersection with Route 151. The facility is west of the Linn County Rural Electric Cooperative. It is the most westerly building complex on the Rural Electric Cooperative road. There is no sign for Involta on the highway or the building. There is a collection of dish antennae and diesel motor-generators near the building. Here is a map.
