The IEEE Dayton Section Awards Banquet is an annual gathering of IEEE Members and guests to recognize and award significant achievements of Dayton Section members.  Another tradition is to recognize the winners of the Dayton area high school science fairs.  The winning students will have their outstanding presentations on display before the dinner.   

This year the Dayton Section reaches a significant milestone: it is our Section's 75th Anniversary!  Come celebrate with us!

Learn tips for envisioning your purpose, engaging others in the process, creating wonderful relationships and obtaining amazing results.

Learn about MOVE, an IEEE-USA initiative, for disaster relief and STEM education.  MOVE started as a purpose-driven idea and resulted in a team and a truck with a purpose.

Biography:

Grayson Randall serves as Vice President & Chief Technology Officer at Ascot Technologies, Inc., an award winning software company specializing in mobile deliver technologies. A former IBMer with 13 patents, he leads all new product development and support efforts for Ascot Technologies. He has over 30 years of experience in systems design and architecture.
Mr. Randall has been very active in IEEE and serves as the lead driver for the IEEE-USA MOVE truck, a Mobile Outreach VEhicle for disaster relief and STEM education.
Mr. Randall is known in the world of robotics for his leadership of the Insight Racing DARPA Grand Challenge team which boasts final and semi-final positions in the highly competitive international autonomous robotic vehicle races. He previously mentored a FIRST high school robotics team which won first place in the 2004 international competition as well as numerous other awards. He is currently working on a humanoid robot with a goal that it be indistinguishable from a real human.
