An invited talk was organized on “IoT Edge Analytics gateways -Technologies & Challenges” by IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section at Aditya College of Engineering & Technology, Sugarplum, near Kakinada.  Sri P.V.S. Maruthi Rao delivered this talk.  This was the first invited talk by the Vizag Bay Sub Section organized using WebEx application.  Dr. S. Lakshminarayana served as a moderator between the participants and the speaker.  Sri P.V.S Maruthi Rao delivered an exemplary talk on the technological overview, Asset Management with examples, illustration of IEEE 1451 applications, IoT Edge Gateway and Cloud Decision Support Systems.  He emphasized the use of 1451 NCAP implementations and 1451 standards.  Many student participants, post graduate students interacted with the speaker.  The program was ended successfully with distribution of participation certificates for the participants.
