Town of CARY Smart City Project Initiatives and Community Volunteering Opportunities for IEEE Engineers - Terry Yates & Susan Sanford's RTCC Team

During our monthly technical session during Jun 04th, Terry Yates, Technical services infrastructure and Network Manager from Town of Cary will highlight the excellent futuristic Smart City Projects initiatives from our Town of Cary.  Town of Cary has been leading and among top rank cities that implement Smart City Initiatives in an impressive manner.  With Terry also will be joining Susan Sanford's team from Research Triangle CleanTech Cluster(RTCC) to talk about what different communities in NC are doing in smart cities.

During this session, Terry and Susan's team will also explain about the ways for IEEE engineers involving students, seniors, hobbyists, professionals, local technical community can effectively engage and volunteer in the smart city project initiatives.  As our key mission is to develop a strong local technical non-profit community who can volunteer in future technologies for the community, everybody interested is invited.

After this main event, IEEE executives will briefly discuss about future volunteer project ideas from IEEE ENCS Section.

IEEE ENCS RA24 chapter appreciates the passion, drive and contribution from both Terry Yates and the team for Town of Cary, Susan's Team from RTCC.  We wish continued success and all the very best to their initiatives for the community and future.
