The IEEE Kenya Section would like to hold a training for its volunteers on the various volunteer committee/groups/chapters and the tools that can assist a volunteer effectively perform their roles.
 
The training will also be available via webex for those who may not be able to attend in person.

Humphrey Muhindi of Sea Submarine Communications Ltd (SEACOM) and IEEE

Biography:

Humphrey is a Telecommunications Engineer working as the IP Provisioning Lead Engineer at Sea Submarine Communications Ltd (SEACOM) based in Nairobi, Kenya and has over 11 years in the industry with experience and expertise in service provisioning, delivery and management of IP services, Voice, Video and Data communication, and Infrastructure Management within the African and European regions.

He is an IEEE Senior Member and a member of IEEE for 13years.

He is a member of IEEE YP, SIGHT, Technology and Engineering Management Society (TEMS), Power and Energy Society (PES), Communications Society (ComSoc) and has held a number of volunteer/leadership positions within IEEE notably;

  1. Chair (2017-2018), IEEE Kenya Section Communications Society Chapter
  2. Industry Relations Lead (2018) IEEE TEMS Young Professionals Region 8
  3. Chair (2017), IEEE Kenya Awards and Recognition Committee
