Have you ever wondered why women are underrepresented in every level of corporate America? Employee views on diversity initiatives are mixed. In this session, we delve into the workplace experiences and perceptions of why. You will learn the terminology to understand the effects of working in diverse groups and a road-map to help level the playing field.

 

 

Speaker Bio:

 

Debra Kimberling – Fellow, Society of Women Engineers – is a retired mechanical engineer with 35 years’ experience in industry, government, and academia. She presents the gender equity research to help build a better support network for women and a more engaging and inclusive workplace culture for all. Kimberling is chair of the San Diego County Engineering Council.
