Microsoft Surface - Lab Tour!
Ever wish you could see how innovative hardware is designed? Well IEEE YP has a treat for you! We have teamed up with Microsoft's Device Labs to offer a once in a lifetime opportunity to tour the Surface laboratory! Building 87 on the Redmond campus is where the Surface devices come to life. On this 90 minute tour, you will get the chance to see state of the art equipment used to design multiple prototypes a day for their Surface Pros, Surface Laptops, and Surface Books. You'll also get to witness how color, material, and electronics are creatively merged together to create the devices worthy of the Microsoft name. Make sure to bring your curiosity!

DIRECTIONS AND PARKING INSTRUCTIONS
- Tours start in the lobby of Building 87 which is located at 4729 154th Place NE, Redmond, Washington 98052.
- Please park in the garage which sits between Building 87 and Building 88. It is recommended that you arrive 15 minutes early to ensure your tour can start on time.
- If asked to check in at the lobby, please mention that you are there for the "Building 87 Devices Lab Tour" as part of the IEEE.
- Tom McDowell will be your tour guide and Alon Newton is the event contact as listed in the description.
