A Vector Network Analyzer (VNA) is test equipment that helps RF and Microwave devices to be characterized in terms of network scattering parameters (or S-parameters).  As a VNA provides both magnitude and phase information of the device, this instrument is used in a wide range of applications. A VNA’s excellent dynamic range and the ability to perform advanced calibration using vector error correction techniques have made this instrument primary test equipment in most RF labs.
