Biography:

Ken Box is the Consulting Engineering Specialist for Square D/Schneider Electric in Atlanta, GA. Ken was formerly employed by Cummins Power Generation as a Regional Sales Manager for the Power Systems Group. His professional career spans 42 years in the electrical industry.

Ken holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His current responsibilities include providing application engineering and design support to Consulting Engineers and EPC’s in Metro Atlanta. Ken is a published author, Chairman of the Atlanta IEEE Industry Applications Society Chapter. Ken is a former member of NEC code panel 13 of NFPA-70 and is a licensed professional engineer in the state of Georgia.

David Rewitzer, PE, CEM

With more than 25-year of experience, Dave specializes in power distribution systems and electrical safety for data centers, large campuses, commercial and industrial facilities, and healthcare institutions.

Dave is an OSHA-authorized General Industry trainer who leads the safety services program at HP&D, offering safety program consulting, power systems studies, safety audits and inspections, and training. With classroom, web-based, and on-site programs, Dave and his team teach a wide range of engineering and safety topics such as energy management, arc flash hazard awareness, electrical safety, CPR, fall protection, and general workplace safety.

Dave holds a BSEE from Tennessee State University and an MSEE from Kansas State University. He is a member of the IEEE IAS Electric Safety Committee and the IEEE-1584 voting committee.
