IEEE RAS Execom Meeting
IEEE RAS, Bangalore Chapter Executive committee meeting was held on 28th April, 2018. The following items were discusssed
Attendees: Dr. Shikha Tripati, Dr. Sudarshan TSB, Dr. Krishnan, Mr. A A Nippun Kumaar and Dr. Rangan
1. Dr. Sudarshan did explain on how the RAS started off and the need of increase in strength
2. Discussions on reaching out to students and professionals vi different forums:
- Having hands-on workshops
- Having symposiums which are just lectures
- Competitions on robots like was done in Amrita
3. Student chapter to be brought up first in our own colleges (motivation has to be the forums)
4. Discussion on symposium: went on well but registrations were not as expected. Hence we many not have made enough money to meet all expenses - Dr. Sudarshan updated it
