ROS Advanced Topics overview + start of hands on framework training
Matthew Hinton, an active Robotics Hobbyist will walk through ROS Advanced Topics - an overview of advanced topics like Perception, Manipulation and Navigation.
This is the start of a multiple series in-depth ROS concepts training series based on member interests. Primary objective is to create ROS expertise in the community and it is the right time to start learning Robot Operating System(ROS) framework. In near future, there will be a variety of ROS based devices at home working together with some of them having text-to-speech/speech-recognition abilities.
Contents of these sessions can be finetuned based on the learning requirements of the members. Members will be given hands-on training on usage of the ROS including advanced topics with an automated learning framework. All folks interested in learning can bring in their laptops.
