Biography:
Prof Deepika Rani did her Bachelors, Masters and Doctors Degrees from Andhra University. She has excellent academic career with distinction all along her career. She has more than 15 years of Teaching experience in various subjects in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering area. She has published more than 15 publications and guided several students at UG, PG and doctoral level. Her doctoral thesis entitled “Modelling of a liner wideband array antenna for pattern optimization and synthesis using differential evolutions” gave scope to many young researchers to use her methods for future development. She is a member of several professional associations. She was Women in Engineer coordinator for IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section. During that time, she was awarded grants in two years consequently from R10, IEEE to promote Women in Engineering to tribal women students. She organized many programmes in Araku, Paderu and other remote areas for the development of women in engineering. At present she is the Treasurer to IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section. She is also the Chairperson for the Finance Committee for the IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Systems and Green Technology to be held in May 2019 (icisgt.ieeehyderabad.org)
