For the 2nd time , united the 5 Student branchs of Technopole ghazela : IEEE Sesame Student Branch, IEEE Esprit Student Branch, IEEE Sup'Com Student Branch, IEEE Iset'Com Student Branch and IEEE Tek UP Student Branch , we will celebrate the IEEE Day in its 9th Edition at the Higher School of Communication of Tunis on Wednesday 3rd October 2018 from 14h to 17h. 

In this event, many speakers will be present and they will talk about many fields starting with introducing IEEE, presenting our activities, describing IEEE Student benefits to encourage all student to join IEEE then they will talk about advanced Technologies ( IOT / IA /Big Data ) and about ( Entrepreneurship / leadership and other soft skills ) .Finally we will have fun with a musical band on celebrating the IEEE Day.

Biography:


Chéma Gargouri is the CEO of the Center for Applied Training, a consulting services firm specializing in international programs and projects, meetings planning and management, and non-profit organizations. Chema workes with a wide range of clients, including national and local governments, bilateral and multilateral donors, private corporations, and philanthropies. As CEO of CAT, Founder, and President of the nonprofit the “Tunisian Association for Management and Social Stability” (TAMSS) Chéma developed expertise in project/program design and management, and NGOs and professional organizations capacity building. Over the last 18 years, she been managing development programs worth over $ 20 M aimed at enhancing youth and women entrepreneurship and economic inclusion, fighting poverty, peace building and civic participation . As Country Director for the Institute of International Education's Women Enterprise for Sustainability US Department of State’ funded program which chema directed the installment of 13 women business development centers in 11 regions in Tunisia. She is a 2009 Summer Fellow of the Centre on Democracy Development and Rule of Law at Stanford University. She received a scholarship to participate in the June 2013 Nonprofit Executive Management certificate program at Georgetown University. She was invited as a speaker, presenter and guest of honor in several conferences and meetings organized by UNDP in India, the Danish Parliament, John Hopkins University, and in May 2014 at the IMF’s and the Arab Social and Economic Development fund’s joint conference “Building the future” that took place in Jordan. Chéma has been recently conferred the “Outstanding Women Leadership Achievement Award” by the World Women Leadership Congress & Award (WWLCA). She is a mother of two children, loves sports and singing.

Biography:

Farouk Kamoun received an Engineering Degree from the Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité, Paris, France in 1970 and the Ph.D. degree in computer science, in 1976, from UCLA, where he participated in the ARPA Network Project and did his research on design considerations for large computer communication networks. He is currently president of SESAME university and Professor Emeritus at ENSI, Tunisia. His research and interest areas deal with Vehicular Ad-Hoc Networks, Internet of Things and Smart Cities.

He is an international expert in education, e-governance and digital innovation. He is member of several associations and in particular the iMFV Group working on developing the Future Vision of intelligent Mobility. He is chairman of the first Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group, MAG, of the Tunisian Internet Governance Forum and co-founder and president of the African e-Governance for Inclusive Development Foundation, AeGID-F, created in august 2015
He previously served as Dean of ENSI as well as chairman and CEO of the Centre National de l’Informatique, CNI, Tunisia.
