Workshop on history of microchips (1960-1980) in Switzerland
The workshop will be chaired by Hugo Wyss. Invited speaker Prof.F.Pellandini, founder of IMT.
As a follow-up of the Feb.22,2018 celebration of the IEEE Milestone in Neuchâtel, this workshop will collect from early employees of Centre Electronique Horloger SA as well as from IMT of the University historical material, with the aim of publishing a paper at 2019 IEEE Histelcon in Glasgow, Sept.18/19 and to organize an historical event in conjunction with the Micro20 Convention taking place in the fall of 2020 at Microcity Neuchâtel
