Oath taking ceremony
IEEE-ComSoc organized a gathering of X-EXCOM and new authorities of executive committee in collaboration with student branch and all chapters of IEEE in UCET-IUB under the supervision of advisors. The event was organized as an oath taking ceremony for new volunteers and EXCOM members of IEEE Bahawalpur sub-section as well as farewell for the X-members.
The evening was started with the recitation of holy Quran. After that all the members of EXCOM took an oath presenting themselves as volunteers of IEEE, by officially joining the society. They affirmed that they will support and defend the constitution of UCET-IUB. They oath to perform keep their commitments at their best abilities.
After that there was a appreciation speech by Dr. Asjid Amin (adviser of ComSoc) for the best contribution of EXCOM of last year for their marvelous efforts for the society. After that, Chair persons of all societies were called on the stage to give a speech for their future plans towards the society.
And then there was joint meeting of EXCOM of UCET-IUB with advisers to discuss the issues that took place previously and targets for the future. At the end a farewell dinner was arranged for EXCOM of last year to admitting their efforts and best wishes for the future.
