IEEE STUDENT BRANCH INAUGURATION

The IEEE student branch of Dayananda Sagar University was inaugurated on 25^th August,2018. The event was organized by the student branch and advisor and a number of guests had arrived to encourage the opening of a new chapter.

The guest of honor was Dr. Sureendra Kaushik Chair, IEEE Bengaluru Section and other guests were Mr. Shrikanth Tangade IEEE SAC-Co-Chair, Region 10, Mrs. Ashwini Appaji Secretary, IEEE Young Professionals Bangalore Section and the chief guest was Mr. Nivedan Nempe CEO, Mystic Aromatics Brand Ambassador, MAKE IN INDIA (South).

Along with the guests were Dr. Srinivas, Dean SoE-DSU, Dr. ANN Murthy, Vice Chancellor DSU to support and encourage the event

The start of the event was done by an invocation song followed by the lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Welcome speech was given by Mr. Theodore Asst. Prof Dept. of ECE. There was a formal inauguration of IEEE DSU student chapter in an innovative way.

Mrs. Mukthi Chaturvedi Asst. Prof Dept. of ECE gave the introduction about the chief guest Mr. Nivedan Nempe Then there was an address by the chief guest Mr. Nivedan Nempe about his success story

Mrs. kokila Asst. Prof Dept. of ECE gave the introduction of the guest of honor Dr. Sureendra Kaushik followed by his address to the gathering.

Mrs. Manasa Asst. Prof Dept. of ECE gave the introduction of the guest  Mr. Shrikanth Tangade followed by his address to the gathering.

Mrs. Divyashree H B Asst. Prof Dept. of ECE gave the introduction of the guest Mrs. Ashwini Appaji followed by her address to the gathering.

The launch of the IEEE DSU website was the important part of the event by all the dignitaries.

Dr. Vaibhav A Meshram, Chairman Dept. of ECE SoE-DSU addressed the gathering, shared his views and motivated the IEEE members for their future activities.

The statement on DSU-IEEE student branch and plans for the upcoming year was briefly explained by the IEEE President  ,Mr.Abhishek S .

Dr. Srinivas Dean SoE DSU gave few remarks on the IEEE-DSU student branch plans and encouraged the members to be active in all events organized by IEEE.

The presidential address was given by Dr. ANN Murthy.

The vote of thanks was given by Dr. Pushpa Mala S, Asst. Prof Dept. of ECE and IEEE Branch advisor, DSU.

After the vote of thanks, refreshments were served.
