Topic:

RF USB Power Sensors and Broadband Noise Sources

Will discuss the uses of RF USB power sensors and broad band noise sources with regard to the EMI/EMC market. With today’s changing modulation schemes, move to pulsed signals, GaN amplifiers and over the air testing. With higher frequencies up to 40 Ghz broad band noise sources can provide a quick verification process for interconnect, antennas and equipment calibration. With the advent og GaN amplifiers RF power sensors are ideal for determining the linearity for these devices.

There will be  short presentations for the session:

First one will be:

Using power meters in a Chamber/Enclosure for Return Loss And antenna performance with Peak power and Spread Spectrum signals.

Second presentation will be deal with GaN amplifiers and linearity issues

Third will be about Over the Air testing.  Noise sources used for verification of cables and antennas.
