Dr. Maan A. Kousa of Associate Professor, Electrical Engineering, KFUPM
Biography:
- Received B.Sc. in Physics, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), Saudi Arabia on 1985, 1986 and 1988 respectively.
- D. in EE from Imperial College, London in 1994.
- He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering, KFUPM.
- His research interests include Wireless Communication, Broadband Access Techniques, Networking and Error-Control Coding, in addition to Engineering Education.
- Awarded the Best Teacher Award at KFUPM (1999).
- Certified Peer Teaching Consultant at KFUPM, providing consultation services to junior faculty on teaching and learning.
- Completed several advanced training courses on various aspects on student-centered learning internationally and nationally.
- Delivered many workshops related to active learning techniques.
