Engr Dave Alviz is a registered electrical engineer and a registered master electrician currently working as an Electrical Instructor in Laureate Vocational Saudi Arabia (LVSA) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where he taught vocational training in schools such as International Technical Institute (Jeddah), Higher Institute for Water and Power Technologies (HIWPT) and Higher Institute for Paper and Industrial Technologies (HIPIT).
Prior to joining LVSA, he worked as a Senior Electrical Design/Site Inspection Engineer of National Aquaculture Company (NAQUA) in Al-Lith, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
He graduated from the Adamson University in 2004 with a degree of B.S. in Electrical Engineering and the degree of Master of Engineering-Electrical Engineering in 2006 after successfully defending his research work in power system specifically system losses of a distribution utility.
He had worked both as an electrical design engineer and site inspection electrical engineer in various consulting firm in the country, Meinhardth Phillipines Inc. , and A5M Construction.
He had taught electrical engineering in several reputable institutions in the country such as Adamson University, Mapua Institute of Technology, Asia Pacific College, and St. Louis University- Baguio City.
He had conducted seminars and trainings in different universities such as in Adamson University, Microcity Computer College and in the St. Louis University, lecturing in subjects that include electrical system design, building wiring installation and maintenance and power system analysis.
