Inaugural Session: 10.00 A.M. to 11.00 A.M.

Prof. K. Rama Naidu, Principal, JNTUACEA, has presided over the function. Convener welcomed the gathering and explained about IEEE and activities at the Sub Section. Coordinator has stated about the objectives of the workshop. Dr. P. Dhanu Kumar, Client Services Manager, IEEE India Council, Bangalore and Guest of Honour has given Key note address of the workshop. Chief Guest Prof. K. Prahlada Rao, Rector of JNTUA, has emphasized the importance of digitalization of research papers for reference. Dr. K. Jithendra Gowd, Member IEEE, Asst. Prof. in EEE proposed Vote of Thanks.

Session I: 11.15 A.M to 1.15 P.M.

Dr. P. Dhanu Kumar, has explained about “IEEE Xplore Digital Library: Delivering Research better than ever”, and discussed about: i) Time saving feature ii) Tracking Technology Trends iii) retrieving the right set of articles etc.

Dr. Louis De Mello, International Area Manager, IEEE India Council, Bangalore, has interacted with participants and discussed about initiation of “Consortium of IEEE Digital Library Sources” in India.

Sri T. Yatheendranath, Strategic Partnership Manager, has interacted with participants and explained about IEEE e-learning resources - CSDL (Computer Science Digital Library), SWEBOK (Software Engineering Books of Knowledge).

Session II: 2.00 P.M. to 3.30 P.M.

Dr. P. Dhanu Kumar, delivered a lecture about how to write a quality technical paper and how IEEE publishing process works to basic writing tips and submitting a manuscript. The goal of the session is to enable authors/ potential authors to advance technology and their careers by enhancing their ability to set published, and share their research with the scholarly community.

Session III: 3.30 P.M. to 5.00 P.M.

Sri S.R. Manujunath, has explained about importance of IEEE eBooks and IEL online platform.

Feedback and Valedictory Session: 5.00 P.M. to 5.30 P.M.

Chief Guest Prof. Krishnaiah, Registrar, JNTUA has enlightened that the digital resources can enable for quality research. He gave way participation certificates.
