Clash of Codes - IEEE Day celebration
This event was organized under the aegis of IEEE Student Branch and CodeTroopers Student club for the programming geeks of CSE, ECE, Mech and Civil departments of SMVITM to showcase their programming skills in solving challenging problems. The event comprised of two rounds namely Aptipedia and Reverse Gear followed by a tie-breaker round to decide the winners. All the rounds were conducted online through HackerEarth platform to make the entire event paperless as a part of Go Green initiative taken by SMVITM.
Round 1: Aptipedia
Here the participants were provided with the 30 technical as well as general logic based MCQ questions to be solved within a time limit of 30 minutes. After the completion of first round, 10 contenders were chosen to participate in the second round.
Round 2: Reverse Gear
In this round, contenders were expected to build their programs from the scratch for three problem statements by testing their output for various test cases within a time limit of 45 minutes.
Tie Breaker
Tie breaker was conducted to decide upon the winners of the event for 30 minutes since there was tie(clash) for the first and second prize respectively.
Trivikram Bhat, Akanksha And Akshatha, from the department of CSE conducted the program. Haripriya Aithal, Shrivishnu and Manoj T, from the Department of CSE and members of IEEE supported them.
