The IEEE Region 1 Student Conference (StuCon) is the premier annual event where student branches from IEEE Region 1 - the eight Northeastern United States (CT, MA, ME, NH, NJ, NY, RI and VT) - meet to discuss mutual challenges and to compete in regional competitions.

The conference objective is to encourage lively student engagement and provide  opportunities for students to network and learn from other students from across Region 1 while applying practical engineering knowledge in the various competitions. StuCon also provides a great opportunity for student members to work in teams and to network with Industry Professionals and IEEE Leaders.

Hotel Accommodations:

Holiday Inn Binghamton Downtown (2-8 Hawley Street, Binghamton, New York13901)

Hotel accommodations are included in the registration fee (via a rooming list – do NOT try to book directly with the hotel) on a first come – first served basis for those traveling more than 100 miles each way. Students and Teams will be required to share a room (up to 4 students per Room, up to two in a bed). Hotel rooms will not be provided for local participants. Those non-students wanting to reserve a room should contact Dr. Rubenstein (c.rubenstein@ieee.org) to obtain a room within our room block at $125/night, taxes included, registration additional.
