We are pleased to announce the 2018 edition of the Young Professionals (YP) Remote Sensing Conference, that will be held on 7-8 June 2018 at the Eurogress Aachen, in Aachen (Germany). This conference aims to be a meeting point for young researchers that, after their first degree, have started to work in the field of Remote Sensing.
Read the call for papers.
This is a fast-evolving world, and Remote Sensing, making use of the latest theories, techniques and technologies of science and engineering to collect, process, interpret and disseminate data from the land, the oceans and the atmosphere. Therefore, it is fundamental to keep pace with the changes and advances that are taking place continuously. For this purpose, it is very important to get access to educational resources, to attend conferences, to access the latest research results, and to keep networking with colleagues. The YP Remote Sensing conference is designed to meet these needs.
The event is jointly organized by the IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (IEEE-GRSS) and by the Germany, South Italy, Spain and Switzerland Chapters, within the framework of the ChapNet IEEE-GRSS initiative.
YP, i.e., people that have first graduated within the last 15 years, are invited to present their work in all aspects of remote sensing. YP must be first author and personally present the paper at the conference. No admission charge is requested and IEEE GRSS Student Membership is encouraged.
A limited number of travel support grants will be assigned.
Complete instructions to submit abstract and travel support requests can be found at the submission section
Submissions are invited from all areas of remote sensing. Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:
- Electromagnetic Modelling
- SAR Interferometry
- SAR Imaging Techniques
- POL and POLInSAR
- Bistatic and digital beamforming SAR
