GUEST LECTURE ON NATIONAL SOLAR MISSION

The event was organized on 11th July 2018. Expert talk was on ͞Recent development in India’s Solar Mission͟ by Dr. Juzer Vasi-Emeritus Fellow, Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Bombay under Skill and Knowledge Enhancement Program (SKEP) of IEEE Bombay Section on 11th June 2018 in the Institute premises. The talk was mainly about briefing the practical aspects of solar energy installations to members, students and faculty, regarding various challenges country is going to face in near future related to solar power objectives. Dr. Juzer Vasi also enlighten the audience regarding success stories of DC Microgrid, 24*7 rural electrification project, Solar Charkha and Solar water pump installations. Dr.Juzer Vasi also briefed about various research and development activities taking place at National Centre for Photovoltaic.
