Biography:

Jeff Tharp, Ph.D. has worked with ANSYS for the last 11 years simulating electromagnetic effects and supporting ANSYS customers.  His application of interests includes the simulation of optical effects, antenna design and optimization, and capturing material properties in simulation.  His educational background includes a Ph.D. in Optics from the University of Central Florida and an MS in Optical Engineering from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
