A two day long workshop on Ethical Hacking and Cybersecurity by Techdefence was organized on 29th-30th September 2018. Techdefence is a company that conduct trainings on Ethical Hacking, Information Security and Cyber Forensics. A speaker from Techdefence presided over the workshop for both the days. The students were given theoretical as well as hand-on knowledge  on hacking. The session started by emphasising the role and importance of an ethical hacker in today’s world. Later on, the students were taught the basics of networking that helped them have a deeper understanding of the working of internet and helped them become a white hat hacker.  TechDefence gave a HackTrack Portal access to each participant of different events which is gateway to many opportunities into IT security field for information security aspirants.The workshop was attended by 70+ students and the students seemed satisfied at the end of the day.
