IEEE Technology Awareness Program(TAP) for Govt. School Students

TAP, a technology awareness program was organized by RAS, CS, PES, APS and WIE of IEEE Student Branch of Kongu Engineering College. It was conducted on 7th March, 2019 at Mottayappar Aided Government Middle School, Vallipurathanpalayam (Near Thindal). The awareness program was organized for school students from 6th standard to 8th standard with a count of 82 by our  25 college IEEE student volunteers with 2 IEEE faculty members. The Session started at 9.15 am, with a brief introduction about objective of IEEE and WIE in creating an awareness towards the society. We started with the function with an introduction on the topic “Physics in Electronics”. This was followed by circuit design in which the children showed their skills in an enthusiastic manner.
