Ham Radio
On March 9th, 2019, the Antenna and Propagation Society Student Branch Chapter of Govt. Engineering College, Barton Hill, Trivandrum conducted a talk session on HAM Radio. The talk was taken by Mr. Rejimon G, Instructor Gr.II(H/G), Dept. of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, TKM College of Engineering, Kollam. He is a person who is in possession of a HAM License and also has got good experience in the same field. The session started by explaining about procedures to take HAM license and basics of HAM. It became more fruitful when the discussion finds its way to practically implementing different concepts of antennas and electromagnetic theory. Students got opportunity to see and know more about different types of antennas. The talk commenced at 11 am. About 60 students took part in this session. We received an excellent feedback from the participants. The event ends with honoring the speaker.
