One-Day Workshop on “Application of MATLAB in Signal Processing”
The One-Day Workshop on “Application of MATLAB in Signal Processing” was organized for the students of Jodhpur Park Womens’ Polytechnic, Kolkata. This workshop was held at Digital Signal Processing Laboratory, Dept. of ETCE, Jadavpur University, on 06/04/2018. Total number of participants was 26 for this program. The workshop was structured in such a way that the students can learn the basic commands of MATLAB and apply them in various engineering problems with special emphasis in the area of signal processing. Since MATLAB is not included in the curriculum of the Diploma Engineering course, the girl students got an opportunity to be exposed to one of the most popular simulation environments which would help them to understand various engineering concepts more clearly. The participants were given various assignments which they could solve successfully. The knowledge of MATLAB gained by the participants in this workshop would help them in their future studies.
