Come join the Melbourne EMC Society for an evening of Fine Tavern Dining and EMI at the Broken Barrel Tavern in Palm Bay, FL.

Paid for by our gracious sponsor: EMI Solutions, https://4emi.com/

Since the first half of the 20th century, the engineering community has grappled with an ever-increasing need to manage
electromagnetic interference. From the introduction of the minimally effective Faraday cage up through today’s cutting edge
filters and filtered connectors, the containment of EMI continues to provide new challenges as systems simultaneously emerge in
smaller, faster and more sophisticated variations. Offering an essential overview of the history, cause and effect and regulatory
considerations surrounding EMI, the focus is on identifying how to effectively deploy filter technology, including low pass C, LC/CL
and Pi filters, grading their performance within specific applications. The presentation concludes by illustrating customer specific
examples to simulate identifying the optimum solution for actual EMI issues.
