Safety Considerations for Electronics Development
A quick refresher on common hazards found in electronics development and ideas to improve safety.
Biography:
Nicholas Dohmeier received his Diploma in Electronics Technology from BCIT in 2002 and his Bachelor’s Degree of Electrical Engineering from the University of Victoria in 2005. Nicholas currently works as a Senior Power Electronics Engineer at Delta-Q Technologies and is responsible for development of high frequency industrial battery charger products used worldwide. Prior to this Nicholas designed induction heating systems for Honeywell Process Solutions. Nicholas was a member of Delta-Q’s joint health and safety committee for over 4 years and helped to develop Delta-Q’s electrical safety training and procedures.
