Rescheduled for July 8 confirmed

Focusing on visual perception for robotics and domotics using RGBD cameras requires complex processing pipelines with various levels of complexity. An overall architecture coping with the underlying challenges consist of four layers: i) sensor abstraction and normalization, ii) filtering and fusion, iii) segmentation and representation, and iv) visualization. The methods developed across these layers enable perception task in an efficient and flexible manner for multiple vertical application domains.  In the featured demonstration and complementary talk, real-time capabilities will be shown by means of two scenarios, surface reconstruction and volumetric reconstruction (voxelization) displayed by an interactive installation.
