Internship is a great way to develop skills by sharing your ideas, seeking new experiences in your workplace.


Swecha is one such platform where you can step up your career and experience innovation. It is a non-profit organisation which is aimed at the usage of free software technologies in the society. Swecha has launched its one month summer internship programme at VNR Vignana Jyothi Institute of Engineering and Technology in asssociation with VNR IEEE Student Branch in order to provide quality software global solutions with free software development model.

The intern programme was given in 3 streams, Internet of things(IOT), WEB DEVELOPMENT and DATA SCIENCE.

The students who registered for the intern were taught with modern web, data science, HTML, pandas, python etc. They were introduced to different methodologies like Agile methodologies and exposed to different technologies. Apart from technical talks, it had impact sessions on GAFAM, AADHAR SURVEILLANCE, GENDER SENSITISATION AND FREE SOFTWARE and team building and collaboration activities too.

Agenda

The main Theme behibf this program is to provide  the ability to students to participate in a field of their choice to receive hand’s on learning to improve their skills. This internship programme helped students in learning technology which is currently used by information technology to bridge the gap between academics and industry.



This internship taught students the basics of existing and emerging technologies that are necessary for graduates.

There were 400 students enrolled at this 20 days residential camp and 10 days intern on projects.
