PES DAY 2019 - PES RES 4 KIDS
The Power Energy Society Renewable Energy for Kids Program is a networking without borders initiative aimed at spreading awareness on the available renewable energy resources available that can be tapped to produce power for our communities. It is essential for a kid to grow up knowing what power is as it plays a key role in many aspects of the digital age. This event took place on the Global IEEE Power Energy Society Day, held on the 22nd April every year. We are grateful to the Maa Trust for presenting us with an avenue to reach the kids more easily through the kids holiday camp.

RENEWABLE ENERGY COLORING BOOK
We utilized the free online coloring book provided in the IEEE PES site which can be found here: http://sites.ieee.org/pes-day-2018/pes-res-for-kids/
The coloring is a fun activity which is supposed to increase the visual understanding of the kids and boost their mental activity. The coloring creates an experience for the children that enables them to interact with their coloring book, bringing a sense of reward and achievement to the children. It was amazing to see the kids get excited over this activity.
