The following are present:

4. Sri Md Khwaja Muinuddin Chisti, Secretary 2019 IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section
5. Prof R. Ramana Reddy, EC Member IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section
6. Prof VVSSS Chakravarthy, EC Member IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section
7. Dr. P. Satheesh, EC Member IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section
8. Sri A.Krishna Nag, IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section
9. Dr. Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni, Member EC, IEEE Hyderabad Section
(Dr Ushabala, Mrs Vijaya and Dr T.S.N. Murthy were granted leave of absence)
➢ Dr Abraham Varughese welcomed all the members and narrated all the details of various events
organized in 2018. He also expressed his satisfaction and gratitude to all the members support
extended during the past two years 2017 and 2018. He wished that in coming years, IEEE Vizag Bay
will improve its member and event base with the support of all the members.
➢ Dr. Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni introduced the New Slate -2019 members to all. He also briefed the
summary of AGM proceedings (30th Dec 2018) to all the EC members.
➢ Sri Sriram, while addressing his Chairman’s speech, thanked all the past Chairmen (Sri Gopi Kumar
Bulusu, Prof G.S.N. Raju, Dr. Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni and Dr Abraham) for their constant
endeavor for the growth of the Vizag Bay.
➢ Sri Sriram nominated Dr. Lakshminarayana Sadasivuni and Dr T.S.N. Murthy as EC Members of Vizag
Bay. All the other members supported.
➢ The committee nominated Sri Arasavelli Krishna Nag as Student Activities Chair for IEEE Vizag Bay Sub
Section
➢ The Committee nominated Dr V. Usha Bala as WIE Co-Ordinator for IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section.
➢ The committee has approved change of signatories for bank transactions as follows (1) Sri Sriram
Chair, IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section (2) Mrs. Vijaya Treasurer IEEE Vizag Bay Sub Section (3) Treasurer
IEEE Hyderabad Section (Any Two of the three above) [Action: Secretary to intimate: Secretary, IEEE
Hyderabad for action]
➢ Prof R. Ramana Reddy mentioned that pro-active approach should be followed to improve the events
in this geographical area and advised to create a data base of institutions willing

You are requested to suggest plans under item 7 of the agenda (along with financial commitments) and send to the Secretary at chisti@ieee.org before 18th Jan 2019. Mr. Chisti, Secretary will consolidate and place before the Chair/EC for necessary action.
