We are trying this program as an experiment to see if programs for innovators and entrepreneurs are of interest to TEMS members. Please let me know what you think and if you have other suggestions. -- Doug

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program provides an opportunity for entrepreneurs and small businesses to engage in Federal Research/Research and Development (R/R&D) that has the potential for commercialization.

SBIR funding can be a great way to fund your product development. Join us to hear from experts who have successfully used the SBIR program to grow their business, hear from SBDC experts, and Army SBIR leadership to get the government’s perspective. Learn about the application process and sources of assistance. Our speakers include:

-Ken Malone, Principal, Early Charm Ventures
-Army SBIR Program Leadership
-Brandon Mason, SBDC SBIR subject matter expert

This MeetUp is generously co-sponsored by the Howard County Economic Development Authority (http://www.hceda.org/) and DefTech Maryland (https://deftechmd.net/)
