National Science Day Quiz’19
National Science Day is celebrated in India on 28 February each year to mark the discovery of the Raman effect by Indian physicist Sir C. V. Raman on 28 February 1928. For his discovery, Sir C.V. Raman was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics in 1930. IAS SB chapter in association with Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering has organised a Quiz competition for students at campus level. Shortlisted 24 students participated after the screening test. They are made into 12 teams and participated the prelims round on February 28th. The 4 teams who scored top in preliminary round are selected to the finals which happened on March 1st.
