5th Annual IEEE MIT Undergraduate Research Technology Conference 2019 (URTC) at MIT, Cambridge MA, USA from October 11 to 13, 2019.

The 2019 IEEE MIT URTC brings together undergraduates from around the world to present, discuss, and develop solutions to advance technology for humanity. Students may publish papers of their school projects, research, innovations, or case studies. Conference attendees will attend a rich program with keynote speeches and technical talks featuring renowned speakers, a student design competition, and networking events. The conference will also be hosted on MIT’s campus.

Envisioning a technical conference targeted towards undergraduate students all over the globe, the MIT IEEE Student Branch in 2015 inaugurated the IEEE MIT URTC. This is the 5th annual conference with the goal that the conference will be a venue where undergraduate students can meet to present, discuss, and develop solutions to advance technology for humanity. Participants can attend a rich program with renowned speakers, technical sessions, a student design competition, exhibits, networking, and social activities, presenting a great opportunity for students to interact with leading industry experts.

The conference theme is “Meet Innovation Technology (MIT)”, and the eight focus technical tracks are:

1. Machine Learning / Artificial Intelligence (AI)
2. Security and Communications
3. Human-Computer Interaction and Graphics
4. Robotics and Controls
5. Biological and Biomedical Engineering (BioEECS) and Applied Physics
6. Computer Systems
7. Circuits, Materials, and Nanotechnologies
8. Theoretical Computer Science and Mathematics

For Student Accommodation:
1. MIT Student Host (Free for non-MIT students)
- To request: You will receive the email with the link to the request form after you have registered for the conference.

2. Hyatt Regency Cambridge (575 Memorial Dr, Cambridge MA 02139)
- Recommended, but you can stay at any hotel (own expense)

Registration Fee includes conference proceeding, meals, t-shirt, conference bag with giveaways, and admission to all conference programs, acivities, and exhibition.
