SCMS Group of Educational Institutions is a national leader in higher education especially in the fields of Management, Engineering and Technology. Inspired by the vision of its founder Dr. G.P.C Nair on value based education, SCMS has a tradition of over 4 decades of sustained and focused pursuit of its objectives. There are about a dozen Institutions under its fold in diverse disciplines like Management, Engineering, Biotechnology, Architecture, Computer Applications, Polytechnics and the like, operating from different locations in Kochi (Cochin), Kerala, India.
IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology for the benefit of humanity. It’s divided hierarchically into continents, regions, country, state etc.
IEEE SSET SB is the Student’s Branch of SCMS School of Engineering & Technology, Kochi HUB, Kerala Section formed in 2007 and Ascendio is its flagship event hosted yearly at SSET.
Ascendio is the techno-cultural event of IEEE Student’s Branch of SCMS School of Engineering & Technology conducted yearly. We are planning to host its 5th edition, ASCENDIO 5.0 on the dates:25-27th of October 2019. The event consists of Workshops, Motivational sessions, Tech talks, Cultural programs, among some other shows and sessions. There will be participants from various engineering colleges in and around Kerala.
The event will take place at the premises of SCMS School of Engineering & Technology. The College Campus is located at Vidyanagar, Palissery, Karukutty. It is 37 km from Kochi, 5 km East of NH-47 from Adlux international convention centre, Cochin.9 km from Karukutty Railway Station.20 km from Kochi International Airport.
