So do you know what's going on inside of you? I'm willing to bet that like most of us, you really have no idea. Since we're living in the 21st Century, wouldn't it be great if there was some sort of app that we could download that would show us what's going on inside? Well, we may not be there yet, but we're getting pretty close. Come attend this IEEE Florida West Coast PACE Group presentation and we'll take a look at the brave new world of the Scanning Fiber Endoscope, a 1-mm medical imaging device with many potential applications.

Endoscope you say? What's that? An endoscope is an illuminated optical, typically slender and tubular instrument that is used to look deep into the body and used in procedures called an endoscopy. It is used to examine the internal organs like the throat or esophagus. An endoscope can be used to examine visually and diagnose, or assist in surgery such as an arthroscopy.

Come join us and find out how we're going to find out what's going on inside of you in the future!

Join us on Wednesday evening, November 20th at 6:00pm. We'll be meeting at TECO Hall which is located at TECO Plaza, 702 N. Franklin St., Tampa. If you have any questions, feel free to contact the meeting organizer, Jim Anderson at jim.anderson@ieee.org. I'll see you there!
