Arduino Mini-Project Exhibition 2019
Mini-project exhibition using Arduino UNO was an event organized by Roborit, a chapter of IEEE RITB. The event was held in 3 stages.
An Arduino workshop was conducted for 2 days for all the participants and student mentors of the event. The workshop was held in the simulation lab, DES. There were over 100 participants. The first day covered the basics of Arduino and various components which are used along with applications. On the second day, problems and the components needed to solve those problems were given. The mentors enthusiastically guided the participants.
The next stage was project review, where participants formed a group of 4-6 and each group was assigned a mentor. The groups had to build a project adhering to certain rules and specifications. The mentors guided the groups and supervised the progress of the project. The projects had to be finished in 4 weeks and a document preview had to be written based on the project and verified by the mentor well in advance before exhibiting the project.
The next stage was exhibiting the project, the projects were displayed in the corridors of LHC for reviews on May 20th 2019. All the groups were ready with a working model and the document. The judges were faculty from ECE, TCE and CSE departments along with 4th-year students from IEEE RITB. The projects were presented to the judges and after some discussion, the winners were announced. The winners were given cash prizes.
