Resume is a gate pass for students' career. A good resume is the one which can impress the recruiter in the first glance for few seconds. With intent of guiding the students for building an impressive resume, the placement coordinator of department of E&C engineering Prof. Vidyarani M. Katigar took an initiative to conduct a workshop for pre-final year students of the department. With guidance of Dr. Veena V. Desai and coordination of Prof. Pratijnya S. Ajawan, a series of activity sessions were organised in collaboration with IEEE GIT student branch of KLS's GIT.

Students were asked to bring their resumes. A number of small groups were formed wherein the students reviewed each other's resumes and came up with good points, best practices and areas of improvements. During the interactive session, the faculty members provided suggestions on writing their own career objective, presenting skills and academic records, achievements and other aspects in an effective manner. It also helped the students to understand the areas where they can improve so that they can put efforts for building their resume better by the time placements start in the final year. At the end of workshop, well developed resumes of all the students were loaded into the department placements drive.
