1.0  The Event.

What               2020 IEEE Canada Spring Board Meeting.

When:                        February 28 – March 1, 2020

3.0       Hotel Reservations.

Everyone attending this meeting must register, including Section Secondary Delegates, Observers, Guests (not partners/spouses).

 

Registration information will be used to book your hotel reservations, including Sections Secondary Delegates (SSD).

 

All SSD will pay their own hotel bills and will have to contact the hotel by February 1st with their confirmation codes to update their Credit Card Information in order to secure the rooms.  All SSD hotel reservation confirmation codes will be sent once the reservation has been made.

 

4.0       Travel from/to Airport

Holiday Inn Toronto Airport provides a 24-hour Airport Shuttle from and to the airport:

Arriving into Terminal 1 - - - - - - - > Ground Level S5

Arriving into Terminal 3 - - - - - - - > Arrivals Level – Post 7-13

 

5.0       Travel Arrangements.

You are responsible for booking your own travel arrangements.  

We have arranged discount codes for our meeting air travel with Air Canada.  Delegates are encouraged to use these discounts to minimize the cost of travel on region business.  These discount codes are good for one-way or round-trip travel from anywhere in North America to Toronto Pearson airport.  Your section may also take advantage of these discounts for secondary delegates attending this meeting.

Note that there are a variety of restrictions on any discount code, so it may be possible to find cheaper fares even without using the codes.  For example, the Air Canada promo code is a 0% discount on Basic fares (however, using the promo code still helps us reach the minimum number of bookings to qualify for similar promo codes in the future).

In all cases, it is the delegate's responsibility to minimize cost and follow the region expense guidelines.
