Seminar: Traffic Modelling and Simulation
Microscopic traffic simulators allow comparison and testing of various existing or new street configurations or equipment. Therefore, they allow deciding how street design arrangements or new technologies are seen and by road users, and which driving behaviour they produce. The acceptance of these arrangements determine traffic safety. This seminar aims at providing insights into the field of simulation in transportation to perform experimental studies, testing of new technologies and demonstrate present and future scenarios.
