Network and Cyber Security
The IEEE Bahawalpur Sub-Section Young Professionals & Women in Engineering Congress 2019 (BSSYWC’19) is the largest event for students in the South Punjab that is recognized both nationally and internationally. The Congress offers a chance to the IEEE Volunteers and Non-Volunteers from different fields of science from all over Pakistan to gather around to learn different skills by learning from each other. IEEE ComSoc chapter participated actively in the major event of the year by conducting a session of network security. The Cisco Certified Network Security Specialist, Syed Najeeb-ul-Hassan delivered a session on the importance of network security in today’s world and its influence. He gave a brief introduction about the Network Security and the scope of this field. He also discussed various techniques that are in use nowadays and the room for improvement in each. He encouraged the students to have more interest in this field as it is one of the most important requirements in today’s world that relies heavily on information, data and privacy. Over two hundred participants participated from all over Pakistan including the leading community of technical sciences and researches from Pakistan. Dr. Muhmmad Amjad was the chief guest in the session. The Slot of our session in BSSYWC'19 has collaborated with ComSoc Lahore. The event was conducted successfully with grace.
