Word Embedding: From Word2Vec to StarSpace
The workshop on Word Embedding: From Word2Vec to StarSpace was held at MERCon 2019 conference under the technical co sponsorship by IEEE PES Sri Lanka Chapter. This workshop is focused on giving an introduction to the concept, implementation, and the uses of neural word embedding. Neural word embedding is the collective name for a set of language modeling and feature learning techniques based on neural networks, where words or phrases from the vocabulary are mapped to vectors of real numbers.This hands-on workshop targets undergraduate and postgraduate students who carry out research in the area of Natural Language Processing. Software Engineers and Data Scientists developing applications in the area of Natural Language Processing will also benefit.
