The dignitaries were welcomed by the Dr. Satish Kumar Gudey IEEE SB Counselor on to the dais. Our chief Guest Dr. Lakshminarayana garu addressed the august gathering. He informed the  importance of IEEE Student membership to the student members and faculty. He suggested the students to participate in more number of IEEE events to improve their professional life. He also informed all to participate in the coming section student congress. He applauded the speakers for taking time from their busy schedule to ignite the minds of the students with the latest research topics.

He was then felicitated with a memento and a shawl by the Principal Dr A B K Rao garu, our Senior Professor and Life Member IEEE Dr Sastry V Vedula garu accompanied by IEEE Vizag bay subsection Vice-Chair Dr Deepika Rani garu, Professors and the IEEE SB Counselor.

The first talk at 10:30 AM. It was presented by Dr. C V K Bhanu garu on the topic Smart Grid. He showed few videos to motivate the students towards providing solutions to the societal needs. His lecture lasts for about one and half hour comprising of discussions, lecture and motivation.

From 12 Pm to 1 PM the students had an ice breaking session comprising of good questionnaire. The successful students were presented goodies by the student chair G Rajesh and vice chair  Ritesh Roy.

After Lunch, Our beloved Principal Dr A B K Rao garu presented his technical talk on Robots and their design issues. He showed videos of different types of Robots to the audience. He  explained the concepts and highlighted the research areas.

Both the speakers were felicitated with a memento after their talks.

We had a robotics laboratory session where our faculty members Divya madam, sanjay darwekar, Ramakrishna and Shanker ganesh have shown the two different types of robots and demonstrated them. 

G Rajesh presented the vote of thanks to the esteemed audience.
